Douglas M. Monasebian M.D., D.M.D., F.A.C.S.
 Dr. Douglas M. Monasebian practices the full scope of Plastic Surgery with an emphasis on Aesthetic Surgery. The additional training in Maxillofacial Surgery he received has enabled him to perform all facial, aesthetic and reconstructive procedures to the highest standard.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University, Dr. Monasebian received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He continued his education at the University of Nebraska where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with high distinction. Dr. Monasebian was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society, while he was in medical school.

Dr. Monasebian received his training in General Surgery and Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Building on his training in Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Monasebian completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the the well-respected Montefiore Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. |
 He is Board-Certified and a Diplomate of both The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Monasebian's office based surgical facility, Park Avenue Specialty Care, L.L.C., is certified by JCAHO, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as an office-based Surgical Facility. Dr. Monasebian believes strongly in performing surgery in the safest possible environment for his patients.
Additionally, Dr. Monasebian's has authored many clinical and research articles. He has lectured nationally on both Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is on staff at many of New York City's most prestigious hospitals including Mt. Sinai Medical Center, St. Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital and New York University's Downtown Hospital.
